Fipp liner Production line
FIPP Thermoplastic Liner Production Line
What is FIPP Thermoplastic Liner Production Line?
From the perspective of the extruder, the FIPP Thermoplastic Liner Production Line is a specialized plastic extrusion system designed to manufacture continuous thermoplastic liners used for Fold and Form Pipe Rehabilitation technology.
The core function of the extrusion system is to transform thermoplastic raw materials such as HDPE, PP, or PVC into high-strength, flexible folded liners through controlled melting, plasticizing, extrusion forming, calibration, and cooling processes.
Product Details
The produced thermoplastic liner is installed into existing underground pipelines, then heated and expanded using steam, hot water, or air pressure. The folded liner returns to its original round shape and forms a close-fit structural pipe inside the host pipe.
The extruder is the core equipment of the production line.
Its main functions include:
Heating thermoplastic materials
Melting and homogenizing polymers
Providing stable extrusion pressure
Producing continuous liner tubes with uniform quality
The extruder ensures that the thermoplastic material reaches a stable molten state before entering the forming die.
Through a specially designed extrusion die, the molten thermoplastic material is formed into a continuous tubular liner.
The production line controls:
Outer diameter
Wall thickness
Roundness
Surface quality
Mechanical strength
The liner dimensions are precisely designed according to the rehabilitation pipe diameter and structural requirements.
After extrusion and cooling, the thermoplastic liner passes through a folding system.
The forming unit creates a special folded shape that allows:
Easy transportation
Reduced installation space
Smooth insertion into existing pipelines
Efficient rehabilitation of long-distance pipelines
During installation, the folded liner is heated and expanded to recover its original circular shape.
The PLC control system automatically manages:
Extrusion temperature
Screw speed
Melt pressure
Cooling temperature
Haul-off speed
Liner dimensions
This ensures continuous production and consistent liner performance.
