Spiral Wound Pipe Rehabilitation Equipment

Overview

Spiral Wound Pipe Rehabilitation Equipment is a trenchless sewer rehabilitation system used to renew deteriorated pipelines without excavation. The machine continuously winds PVC or steel-reinforced PVC profiles inside existing pipelines, forming a new structural liner while maintaining pipeline operation.

Our equipment is suitable for municipal sewer networks, stormwater drainage systems, industrial pipelines, and large-diameter culverts.

Applicable Pipe Diameter

DN300 – DN3000

Applicable Materials

  • PVC Spiral Profile

  • Steel Reinforced PVC Profile

  • HDPE Profile

  • PP Profile

Rehabilitation Method

Mechanical Spiral Winding Technology

How It Works

How Does Spiral Wound Pipe Rehabilitation Work?

The winding machine is positioned inside the existing pipeline through a manhole.

PVC profiles are continuously fed into the machine and mechanically locked together to form a new liner. The liner creates a new pipe within the existing host pipe. Depending on project requirements, the annular space can be filled with grout to achieve structural rehabilitation.

Construction Process

1. Pipeline inspection

2. Pipeline cleaning

3. Equipment installation

4. Spiral profile winding

5. Annular space grouting

6. Final CCTV inspection

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Spiral Wound Pipe Rehabilitation?

A trenchless technology that creates a new pipe inside an existing pipeline using continuously interlocked PVC profiles.

What pipe sizes can be repaired?

DN300 to DN3000 depending on equipment configuration.

What is the service life of the liner?

Typically more than 50 years when properly designed and installed.

Is excavation required?

No. Installation is normally performed through existing manholes.

Can the system be used for large diameter sewers?
